Paintball Guns

Tip! When it comes to toy guns, they are really no toys at all. Some can cause some serious harm and you should be careful with any type of airsoft gun, BB gun or paintball gun. Airsoft guns are made to resemble the likeness of a real gun.

Ever since the game of paintball was invented in the 1980s, it has become one of the most popular sports today. It is an exciting game that simulates military combat using paintballs and paintball guns. These are the two important pieces of equipment that set the sport apart from other outdoor sports. The paintball gun is the primary device or firearm used by the player to shoot or mark an opposing player with paint.

A paintball gun looks like a replica of a firearm. It uses a propellant - a rapidly expanding gas - such as carbon dioxide or air to force the paintball through the gun’s barrel with a velocity of roughly 300 ft/s. This is the recommended velocity that is implemented - strong enough to cause the paintballs to burst upon impact but not fast enough to cause injuries.

A paintball gun is also called a paintball marker. It has 4 major components: the body, hopper, tank and barrels. The body of the paintball gun contains its firing mechanism. There are 4 kinds of paintball gun firing systems. These types include electro-pneumatic, which is electronically controlled using a battery to drive its motors. The electro-pneumatic paintball gun is able to fire multiple rounds such as three or six shot bursts and fully automatic. The mechanical firing system uses springs while the gas powered firing system uses pressurized gases.

Tip! For the interested person who is looking to join the exciting and exhilarating fun of the sport of Airsoft, finding an affordable Airsoft gun is not as complicated as it may seem. Although some of the higher-end guns can be expensive

The hopper is the mechanism that holds the paintball in place for the marker to fire. The tank holds the compressed gas that is used to propel the paintballs through the gun’s barrel. Meanwhile, paintball marker barrels come in a variety of lengths with varying effects. There are many varieties of paintball guns that a player can choose.

If you are a first time player you can rent a paintball gun. Serious players will want to have the best paintball guns with high capacity, power and performance. The cost of a paintball gun depends on the pressure system that the gun uses. If you are planning to buy a paintball marker, you should devote some time and effort to research about which paintball guns are affordable, dependable, and high performing.

Tip! Invented years ago, Airsoft guns were simply meant for recreational uses. Making use of a small amount of air, Airsoft pistols and rifles shoot abs plastics, paintballs and lightweight BB pellets at low velocities

Paintball Guns

Tip! For the interested person who is looking to join the exciting and exhilarating fun of the sport of Airsoft, finding an affordable Airsoft gun is not as complicated as it may seem. Although some of the higher-end guns can be expensive

Paintball guns, also called paintball markers, are used to mark an opposite player with paint in a paintball game. Paintball guns were once used by forestry groups and farmers to mark trees and cattle. The origin of paintball guns can be traced back to 1981. The first paintball gun, invented by James C. Hal, was commonly used by the forestry industry and not for a paintball game. Later, the first gun specially intended for playing paintball was invented by Robert G. Shepherd in 1985.

Paintball guns are meant to move the paintball at a high rate of speed. They use compressed gas to shoot the paintball. The velocity required to force the ball from the barrel is nearly 300 ft/s (100 m/s). Usually, the compressed gases used in the paintball guns are carbon dixide, nitrogen or ordinary air. It is stored in tanks that are attached to the gun.

Modern paintball guns have four major components. These include body, tank, hoppers, and barrel. Body is one of the major components used in the paintball guns. It includes four diffent types of paintball marker firing systems. These include electro-pneumatic firing system, mechanical firing system, pump, and electo-mechanical guns. Hoppers, often called as loaders, are used to hold paintballs. Tanks are used to store the compressed gas in order to accelerate the paintballs which is attached to paintball gun. Barrels used for paintball guns come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials.

Tip! Mini electric airsoft guns are replicas of real guns from around the world. They run on AA or AAA batteries and are usually full automatic. They fire auto air pellets in miniature size. They are quality weapons that are made to play games inside or in a neighborhood where a real looking gun is not allowed.

Pump-action, Semi-automatic and stockguns are some of the important paintball gun types. Stockguns use markers which require a low rate of ammunition capacity and fire. Stock class guns are also called pump action paintball guns. These guns or markers are powered by 12 gram cabondioxide cartridges and have small carbondioxide tanks. All guns maintain the international speed limit of 300 fps and the range is 50 yards.

Nowadays, a wide range of paintball guns in different designs are offered for sale in the market at affordable prices.
